WATER MUSIC
WATER MUSIC is a living composition that transforms plants into a form of musical notation.
The sculpture—designed as both a music staff and a functional ecosystem—features an abstract musical phrase notated with live vegetation. As the seasons shift and plants bloom, the melody evolves in real time. Additionally, the work features a gutter system that collects rainwater — sustaining plants and activating a kinetic sprinkler system.
Commissioned by the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Produced and curated by Bridge Projects: Stuart Allen and Cade Bradshaw.
