LO FI CYCLE (2016)

Steel, brass, wood, rubber.

Interactive musical instrument made from a bicycle.  An imagined collaboration between Cage, Zappa, and Duchamp.

Commissioned by Austin Art in Public Places.


Interactive works for pedicabs, carhorn choir, and amplified bicycles.  

Commissioned by the Fusebox Festival.  Winner, Austin Critics' Table Award.

BAT // MAN (2016)

Site-specific work about loss, invisibility, and memory.  For 1.5 million bats, conch shell ensemble, megaphone choir, and handmade echolocation devices.

Tubascopes (2017)

Brass, steel.

Listening devices, modeled after obsolete WWII Acoustic Locators, installed in parkland.  

Commissioned by Austin Art in Public Places to be installed in Sept 2017.

Music on Pearl (2014)

Reclaimed construction materials, steel, wood, PVC.

Interactive musical instrument sculptures made over a series of workshops with North Chinatown Phliadelphia youth.  Temporarily installed on Pearl Street, an underutilized alleyway.

Commissioned by the Asian Arts Initiative.

Recycled Sounds (2015)

PVC, wood, steel, brass.

Interactive musical instrument sculptures, installed in public parking garages in downtown Austin.  Made in a series of workshops with students from the Hispanic Alliance for the Performing Arts.
